A source close to Welliver-Jesel Motorsports told NASCAR.com Thursday that David Green, driver of the No. 34 AFG Industries Chevrolet, has been given his release papers, effective after this weekend's NASCAR Busch Series season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The sponsorship of that car is also ending following the GNC Live Well 300.

Welliver-Jesel is in negotiations with several companies, but without a commitment, they won't be able to continue the team.

However, WJM anticipates 2002 programs for Casey Mears in the No. 66 and Hank Parker Jr. in No. 36.
