Amick has competed part time in the Busch Series this year and also in ARCA. In six Busch races this year, he had one top-10 -- at Watkins Glen. The former Goody's Dash Series champion also competed in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events this year in the Ken Schrader-owned ride.
Last year, Amick competed full time in the Busch Series in his family-owned No. 35 Chevrolet where he had three top-10s and finished 28th in points.
WANKE OUT AT ULTRA
Crew chief Fred Wanke led Ted Musgrave and the No. 1 Ultra Motorsports Dodge team to seven victories this year in the Craftsman Truck Series. It was the most of any driver in the series and helped Dodge win its first NCTS Manufacturer's Championship.
But Wanke was let go from his position last week by Ultra, although Musgrave will be back as the driver next year.
Wanke and Musgrave also combined for one Bud Pole Award, 13 top-fives, 18 top-10s, finished second in points and collected just under $550,000 in prize money.

Further indications that Rick Hendrick is going to move his son, Ricky Hendrick, and two-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Jack Sprague into the Busch Series next year are surfacing.
It has been rumored that Bobby Wooten, the team manager for Hendrick's program in the Craftsman Truck Series, has been let go. Although nothing has been officially announced, speculation has it that both Sprague end the younger Hendrick will be moving into the Busch Series with their current sponsors on board.
