Twenty-four teams have indicated they will participate in the session, including the 2001 Daytona 500 winning No. 15 DEI Chevrolet driven by Michael Waltrip.
GRUBB RESURFACES
NASCAR Busch Series driver Kevin Grubb, who has been without a ride since he left Brewco Motorsports at the end of the 2001 season, might test at Daytona International Speedway in a week and a half when Busch Series teams take to the 2.5-mile speedway.

Herzog Motorsports has listed both their previously announced 2002 driver Andy Houston and Grubb on its roster for the test, one of two two-day sessions for Busch teams. Turns out Houston has suffered a foot injury and if he is unable to drive, Grubb would take his place. NASCAR restricts teams to using one driver per day in order to be only charnged for one test.
In another Busch Series development, Coy Gibbs plans to test both a truck in Daytona's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series session Jan. 18-20 and a Joe Gibbs Racing Busch car in one of the following week's Busch sessions.
