Look for double the cigars in the Mooresville, N.C., area this weekend. Two new pit crew members were born into the NASCAR family when Warren and Kim Brosel welcomed twin sons into the world early Friday morning.

The Buzz: Jan. 18, 2002

Brosel is a fabricator at Dale Earnhardt Inc. and serves as the catch can man for the No. 15 Chevrolet driven by Michael Waltrip.

Kim spent all of Wednesday and Thursday at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville, N.C. waiting for the magic moments. Finally, with a little help from the hospital staff, Chase and Wyatt Brosel came into the world at 3:38 and 3:39 a.m., respectively. Chase weighed in at 6 lbs, 14 oz. and Wyatt was 4 lbs, 3 oz. and both were deemed healthy.

"Kim is doing fine and is resting right now," her husband said Friday morning. "The boys are healthy, mom is healthy and I'm just plain tired. I'm a bit overwhelmed by all this right now, what a great feeling."
