Chris Carrier, a native of Bristol, Tenn., brings more than 20 years of winning experience to the Winston Cup side of Andy Petree Racing, where he will work with Joe Nemechek. Carrier, 40, worked with Petree's Busch Series program for the last three years were he engineered a limited schedule of events. While he most recently worked with Winston Cup veterans Ken Schrader, Mike Skinner and Elliott Sadler, Carrier made his reputation at Ed Whitaker Racing's Busch team, where he was a potent force with driver Harry Gant; and with Dale Earnhardt.
