Kevin Cram renewed his relationship with Dodge in 2001 by stepping into the crew chief's role with Winston Cup Rookie of the Year candidate Jason Leffler at Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates. Cram achieved success with Winston Cup sophomore Stacy Compton in the Craftsman Truck Series in 1998-99 when they ran Dodges for Impact Motorsports. He was part of Bill Elliott's "crew chief by committee" system in 2000 and will have the opportunity to work alongside team manager Tony Glover, who will make the race day calls for Leffler.
