Sammy Johns, a native of Lakeland, Fla., had high expectations to fulfill as the 2001 season opened. Johns first worked as a crew chief with Ken Schrader at Andy Petree Racing, then moved with the veteran driver to MB2 Motorsports. Johns now runs the show for Casey Atwood's team at Evernham Motorsports.
