Tony Eury has a long, family oriented history of success with drivers named Earnhardt. When seven-time Winston Cup champion Dale Earnhardt was winning races in both the Winston Cup Series and Busch Series, Eury engineered his family Busch team as its chief mechanic. When Earnhardt left the Busch Series, Eury's success didn't wane as he first claimed the Busch Rookie of the Year title in 1997 with Steve Park, then won two straight championships with Dale Earnhardt Jr. Eury comes back after a year in which Jr. won two point races and The Winston all star race.
