Joe Nemechek has achieved most of his success running his own Busch Series team. Nemechek, a Florida native, started in 14 races in 2000 while running a full Winston Cup schedule for owner Andy Petree. Nemechek recorded six top-5 five finishes, including his ninth career win at Talladega, eight top-10s and finished 32nd in points.

The 1992 Busch Series champion also posted a second place finish at Daytona and a third place at Las Vegas. He led four times for 21 laps and dominated a race at Lowe's Motor Speedway before running out of gas in the closing laps.

Won rookie of the year titles in the All Pro Series and Busch Series in successive seasons, 1989-90. Raced motocross earlier in his career and won the Florida Mini Stock championship in his first year racing stock cars.
