Todd Bodine drove in 2000 for Cicci-Welliver Racing in the Busch Series. He won the Busch Series race in 2000 at Michigan, his 11th career victory, and finished fourth in the Busch Series for the second straight season, with 2000 being his final campaign in his third tour with C-W.
The native of Chemung, N.Y., who is the youngest of three racing brothers, finished second after an intense battle with good friend Randy LaJoie in 1997. He finished third to LaJoie in 1996. He gained his first Busch Series victory in only his 22nd start, at Dover, Del.
Bodine is a chassis specialist who got his start in racing in Modifieds in Connecticut.
He got his start in racing working as a child at the family-owned Chemung Speedrome. At different times in his career he worked for the Buck Baker Driving School and as a fabricator for various race teams.
