Bobby Hamilton will once again drive a limited hand picked schedule of races in his own No. 4 Bobby Hamilton Racing Dodges in 2001, seeking to improve his personal and team performances of a year ago. Hamilton scored one of his team's four victories, on a Winston Cup combination weekend at Martinsville and one of its nine pole positions in 2000, at Memphis.

Hamilton, 43, who enjoys relaxing around his truck team's shop in Mount Juliet, Tenn., will have plenty to oversee as his squad fields two full-time programs backed by Dodge in the CTS, including his lead Dana Dodge for Joe Ruttman and the Dodge Motorsports truck for the debuting Willy T. Ribbs.

Hamilton, who has won more than $10 million in the Winston Cup Series, will balance his involvement with his truck team, his own inaugural season with Andy Petree Racing's Winston Cup Chevrolets and also the career of his son, Bobby Hamilton Jr., who is competing with team owner Dave Carroll in the Busch Series.
