Roving Late Model stock car marauder Jim Inglebright made his initial forays into the Craftsman Truck Series and bolstered by some fairly competitive runs the 39-year-old Fairfield, Calif., driver plans a similar limited schedule of races in 2001 driving his own No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado.

Inglebright, a graduate of the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series who tours among the West Coast Late Model Series, the Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series and the Featherlite Southwest Series as well as making the odd trip to a RE/MAX Challenge Series event hopes to pick up his CTS fortunes in 2001, keyed once again by crew chief Rodney Haygood.

Inglebright dipped his toe in the NCTS waters in 2000 and scored solid, top-20 finishes in the five races his Chevrolet finished. He completed all 150 laps of his debut event at Phoenix International Raceway and capped the year by finishing 15th at California Speedway. Inglebright has competed throughout the United States in all four of NASCAR's regional Late Model touring divisions, including the Slim Jim All Pro Series along with the other three. His resume includes starts at Bristol Motor Speedway and at Nashville Speedway USA in the fabled All American 400. Highlights of his touring career are victories in the RE/MAX Challenge Series and Featherlite Southwest Series, where he finished second in the 1995 standings.
