Ryan McGlynn, a veteran short track racer in Pennsylvania and New York, has improved in each of three partial seasons and especially showed that in 2000, driving his family owned No. 00 Chevrolets.

The Pennsylvania competitor enjoyed three consecutive weeks of racing at mid-year, beginning with an 18th-place finish in New Hampshire that he followed up with career best 17th on his home track, Nazareth Speedway, and a 21st-place showing at Michigan International Speedway. The 1999 season was termed a learning experience for the 25-year-old driver who pursued rookie of the year honors but sat out the last part of the year while his family-owned team reorganized. McGlynn finished 24th at Nashville Speedway USA in his best 1999 outing.

He competed on a limited basis in 1998, finishing 28th at Nazareth Speedway and 44th in the overall championship standings. McGlynn's racing career began at Evergreen Speedway in eastern Pennsylvania. He's raced Late Models and Street Stocks in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. McGlynn's hobbies include bowling and darts and the outdoorsman is an avid hunter and angler.
