Late Model stock car veteran Stan Boyd continues to pursue a limited schedule of Craftsman Truck Series races, driving No. 89 Chevrolets for owner James Liguori.

Boyd, 30, of Holly, Mich., competed in his first Craftsman Truck Series race in 1998, finishing 29th at Memphis Motorsports Park. During the past season, the Michigan native upped his schedule to five events, with a best finish of 19th at Mesa Marin Raceway in Bakersfield, Calif.

He was the 1996 Iceman Series rookie of the year and in 1995, he was both champion and rookie of the year at Auto City Speedway.
