Jack Sprague won his third career Craftsman Truck Series title, clinching the championship in the final race of the season. Ted Musgrave finished second in the standings and lead the series with seven wins.

The series saw young talent develop as rookie Travis Kavpil scored one win, as did rookie Ricky Hendrick. Scott Riggs, in just his second season in the series, won five races and led the standings for a time before fading to fifth. |
